How did you hear about The Meisner Technique Studio and why did you reach out to study with us?:

Personal research; I reached out because I had a dream and I wanted to see if this could be the environment where I could grow into it.

Describe your greatest fear(s) about either going after this and/or studying at The Meisner Technique Studio.:

My greatest fear was that I would like this class/acting so much that it would challenge me to reframe my life & what I choose to pursue.

Describe your feelings as you walked into then out of your very first day of class at The Meisner Technique Studio.:

I was naturally nervous had absolutely no idea what to expect, and I left that class with more questions than answers. Having done nothing like this before, I felt strongly out of my bounds.

Describe the greatest gifts/benefits this training has so far brought to you personally and professionally.:

The greatest gift of this training is that it has opened up my impulses as a person. It has made me hyper-aware of the behaviors of others, in turn helping me communicate and connect with others on a far deeper level. It has challenged my imagination and my ability to speak to my dream.

Sanford Meisner was _________::

An observer, a craftsman, a dreamer, and a doer. An advocate of a healthy and brilliant approach to a craft/career choice that can destroy many. A clear profound influence on my great teachers, and in turn an invaluable influence on me.

What is the one area that you as as a student need to improve upon?:

Consistently working on my work-ethic in ways that I can consistently be proud of.

Describe the most valuable thing(s) you’ve learned at The Meisner Technique Studio about going after your acting dreams.:

Be fearless. Trust the process. Be so present. “You really can get good at this!”

Describe the main obstacles(s) in your work.:

Having the courage to fully challenge what this training can do for me and what I can do as a part of that.

The best advice I can give a beginning student at the Meisner Technique Studio is_________::

They’re adjustments–not criticisms. Trust it. Have childlike faith in the process.
