Sanford Meisner once said, “To ever experience true artistic freedom, no matter what the art form, you must rid yourself of all outside opinions and influences. Only then can your true talent emerge and with that, your true gifts to the world.”
I chose this week’s episode because while teaching all week at my school, this topic has been one of the keys to our current students’ struggle and journey as they get freer and freer of their insecurities as well as their desires to “be good.” It has been an amazing thing to witness as they are literally transforming as actors and human beings.  This week’s episode is a celebration of their courage and their journey.
