Q&A with you, part 7

Q&A with you, part 7

Aloha from the Big Island of Hawaii!

I hope this finds you doing beautifully and that your fourth was wonderful as well.

It’s going to be really difficult to write much for the next few weeks as we’re here with our students for our summer Actors Intensive Retreat. We start every morning at 4:30am until go till 9:00pm, every day (“Intensive” is the key word!).

But I just stole a few moments to answers two more questions sent from you all and they are:

“How can actors create more opportunities for themselves, to counteract the disappointment and rejection of the industry, when the pursuit of those opportunities is also laden with rejection? How do we keep going to find, and make our own fortunes, so that we’re not at the mercy of a casting director, or a cliquey theater company?”

“How has aging affected you with regards to acting and feeling desired as a performer?”

I love these questions and my hope is my answers help you in some way.

As always, thank you for your time and my very best to you,
Jim
